The ELITE Youth Entrepreneurship Camp, scheduled annually during the summer at Shawnee Community College, is designed to Educate, Lead, and Inspire Tomorrow’s Entrepreneurs.  Youth in the 7^th-9^th grades learn how to research and write a business plan and participate in a variety of challenging and fun activities.  Applicants must live in Alexander, Johnson, Pulaski, Massac or Union counties. Representatives from the Southernmost Illinois Delta Empowerment Zone (SIDEZ), Shawnee Community College Small Business Development Center and the University of Illinois Extension organize the camp.
